The Left/Right Angulation Control Knob is a core mechanical component located on the operation control body (G7 grip) of the Fujifilm EG-760Z optical magnification gastroscope. It is engineered to provide smooth, highly responsive lateral steering of the endoscope’s distal tip, allowing clinicians to precisely navigate the upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract and target specific mucosal lesions during high-resolution observations.

Lateral Tip Deflection:Directly controls the steering wires inside the insertion tube to sweep the distal tip horizontally up to 100° left and 100° right, granting comprehensive side-to-side panoramic views of the stomach and esophageal walls.
Friction and Angle Locking:Often paired with a designated Left/Right Angle Lock Lever, allowing the operator to freeze or secure the horizontal bending position in place once a target area is successfully locked in the field of view. This prevents hand fatigue and maintains stable optical zoom focus during detailed examinations.
Ergonomic Sensitivity:Designed to turn smoothly with calibrated resistance, minimizing backlash and giving the physician precise tactile feedback during delicate diagnostic and therapeutic maneuvering.
