Material Preparation: Sourcing of certified 6061-T6 aluminum plate or billet. The material is cut to a suitable block size for machining.
CNC Programming & Fixturing: Creation of precise toolpaths from a 3D CAD model. Design of custom fixtures to securely hold the workpiece during machining.
Multi-Axis CNC Milling: The primary shaping process. Using 3-axis or 4-axis CNC milling centers to:
Carve out the main cavity and cigarette rests.
Machine complex external geometries, patterns, or logos.
Create fine details, grooves, or decorative elements.
Deburring & Smoothing: All sharp edges and machining marks are carefully removed by hand or via tumbling/vibratory finishing.
Surface Preparation & Sandblasting:
The part is thoroughly cleaned.
It is sandblasted using fine glass beads or aluminum oxide media to achieve a consistent, satin-matte surface finish across all surfaces.
Anodizing (Type II - Sulfuric Acid Anodize):
The sandblasted part is anodized, creating a porous aluminum oxide layer.

Finally, it is sealed in hot water or nickel acetate to close the pores, locking in the color and maximizing corrosion and wear resistance.
