What is Urea formaldehyde Resin Powder?
Urea-formaldehyde resin is mainly used to prepare amino alkyd baking paint with alkyd resin to improve the hardness and dryness of paint film. It can be combined with dry alkyd resin to produce acid - cured amino paint for wood furniture cover. But weather resistance, water resistance, light retention slightly poor. Epoxy resin and alkyd resin can be used to prepare different properties of primers and indoor paints. Key features include:
1. Low price and abundant raw materials.
2. The molecular structure of urea-formaldehyde resin contains polar oxygen atoms, so it has good adhesion to the surface. Can be used as primer, intermediate coating, to improve the adhesion between finishes.
3. Because it can be cured at room temperature with acid catalyst, it can be used for two-component wood coatings.
4. Urea-formaldehyde resin cured paint film, flexural better.
5. UF resin has high viscosity, high acid value and poor storage stability.

The amount of urea-formaldehyde resin used to make plastic products accounts for only about 10% of total production. In the case of low molar formaldehyde and urea prepared urea-formaldehyde resin, and filler (pulp, wood powder), color, lubricant, curing agent, stabilizer (hexamethylenetramine, ammonium carbonate), plasticizer (urea or thiourea) and other components mixed, and then after drying, grinding, ball milling, screening, urea-formaldehyde pressure molding powder. The temperature and pressure of urea-formaldehyde plastics are 140~150℃ and 25~35MPa, and the pressing time varies according to the thickness of the products, generally 10~60min
