Our glazing powder bridges the gap between plastic and fine ceramics. When cured under pressure, it forms a mirror-like, high-density surface layer that elevates the visual value of your restaurant-grade or household dinnerware.
Melamine and urea compounds alone can be prone to micro-scratches from daily handling and commercial dishwashers. This glazing powder creates a tight cross-linked polymer network that substantially improves surface hardness and limits abrasions.
By sealing the microscopic pores of the underlying MMC or UMC, our glazing powder prevents food oils, juices, sauces (like soy sauce or curry), and chemical detergents from staining or degrading the tableware structure.
To achieve the best results, the combination of moulding compound and glazing powder must follow strict temperature and pressure timelines:
Place your measured Melamine or Urea moulding powder into the hot compression mould. Close the press for an initial partial cure to shape the body of the tableware.
Open the press briefly, apply your printed melamine decal paper to the surface, and close the mould again to bond the graphic.
Evenly sprinkle the High-Brightness Glazing Powder over the top of the hot molded item. Use precise measurement grids to ensure uniform coverage across flat and curved surfaces.
Close the press under full pressure at 165°C to 185°C. The glazing powder melts, flows, and completely cross-links with the underlying material to form a clear, permanent glassy barrier.
