Product Description
Urea formaldehyde is a translucent thermosetting resin made by heating urea and formaldehyde in ammonia or pyridine solution. It is widely used as a component of molding materials, adhesives and protective topcoats.
The fiberboard industry is a big consumer of resin, where it is used as an adhesive. Although it has many advantages, it can still release formaldehyde gas under certain conditions. These resins can be used as viscous
liquids or spray-dried powders, and water needs to be added before use.
