Melamine (C3N3 (NH2) 3), commonly known as Melamine and protein concentrate, and named by IUPAC as "1,3, 5-triazine-2,4, 6-triamine", is a triazine-containing heterocyclic organic compound that is used as chemical raw material.It is white monoclinic crystal, almost tasteless, slightly soluble in water (3.1g/L room temperature), soluble in methanol, formaldehyde, acetic acid, hot glycol, glycerin, pyridine, etc.
Mainly usage of melamine
The main raw material for the manufacture of melamine formaldehyde resin, used as a reagent for the analysis of organic elements, and also used in the synthesis of organic and resin as a tanning agent and filler for leather processing.With formaldehyde condensation polymerization can be produced melamine resin, can be used in the plastics and coatings industry, but also as textile material anti-folding, anti-shrinkage primer.The modified resin can be used as metal coatings with bright color, durability and good hardness.[2]
[3] Melamine resin made by condensation polymerization with formaldehyde is widely used in the manufacture and processing of wooden building formwork.Can be used on the surface of the template waterproof and wood core board adhesion, increase the template reuse times.
