Non-toxic Melamine Glazing Powder LG220 For Surface Polishing Integrated Melamine Vanity Countertop Wash Basin 1200*1000mm Deep Basin 150mm Height Sanitary Ware Production
Product Overview
Our Non-Toxic Melamine Glazing Powder LG220 is a premium-grade, ultra-fine thermosetting resin designed specifically for the final surface polishing and sealing of high-end melamine sanitary ware. Formulated with exceptional flowability and high transparency, LG220 creates a brilliant, porcelain-like protective layer on large-format items, including integrated melamine vanity countertops and deep-basin wash basins (up to 1200 × 1000 mm with a 150 mm depth).
This glazing powder seals the surface porosities of the base melamine moulding compound, providing a flawless, stain-resistant, and high-gloss finish that withstands the rigorous demands of bathroom environments.
Key Features & Product Advantages
Brilliant High-Gloss Finish: Recreates the luxurious, reflective look of traditional ceramic glazes with the lightweight durability of engineered thermosets.
Engineered for Deep-Draw Moulds: Specially formulated to flow evenly across large surfaces (1200 × 1000 mm) and down deep vertical walls (150 mm basin depth) without pooling, streaking, or leaving dry spots.
100% Non-Toxic & Safe: Formulated to meet strict international environmental and sanitary compliance standards, ensuring zero harmful chemical leaching or VOC emissions during daily use.
Superior Surface Protection: Creates an impermeable barrier highly resistant to hot water, cosmetic chemicals, household detergents, impacts, and scratching.
Anti-Fouling & Low Maintenance: The ultra-smooth, hydrophobic surface prevents lime-scale buildup and soap scum adhesion, making it incredibly easy to clean.

Application & Processing Guide for Sanitary Ware
LG220 is applied during the final stage of the compression moulding cycle to achieve a flawless, integrated finish.
Application Steps for Large Vanity Countertops:
Base Pressing: Cure the primary Melamine Moulding Compound (MMC) in the 1200 × 1000 mm mould until it is roughly 80% cured.
De-gas & Open: Open the hydraulic press and evenly scatter a precise layer of LG220 Glazing Powder over the hot basin and countertop surface.
Final Polish Cure: Close the press again for 20-40 seconds under high pressure. The LG220 powder melts, flows down the 150 mm deep basin walls, cross-links with the base material, and cures into a glass-like protective sheet.
Production Tip: For deep-draw basins (150 mm height), ensure uniform powder distribution on the sloped vertical walls of the mould using a fine sifter or pneumatic dusting system to avoid thin spots on the basin flanks.
Packaging, Storage, and Logistics
Packaging: 25 kg multi-wall kraft paper bags equipped with an airtight, moisture-proof PE inner liner.
Storage Environment: Store in a cool, dark, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from moisture, open flames, and direct sunlight to prevent premature clumping.
Shelf Life: 6 months to 1 year under optimal dry storage conditions.
Why Partner With Us for Sanitary Ware Production?
Manufacturing large-format sanitary ware like integrated vanity tops leaves zero room for material inconsistency. Minor flow issues result in matte patches or brittle edges. Our LG220 formulation undergoes strict particle-size and viscosity testing to guarantee seamless coverage over complex, deep-draw geometric moulds. Elevate your production yield, eliminate post-mould polishing labor, and deliver premium ceramic-alternative fixtures to the global market.
