what is Urea formaldehyde
Urea formaldehyde is a translucent thermosetting resin made by heating urea and formaldehyde in ammonia or pyridine solution. It is widely used as a component of molding materials, adhesives and protective topcoats.

liquids or spray-dried powders, and water needs to be added before use.

translucent, resistant to weak acids and weak bases, good insulation performance, excellent abrasion resistance, and low price. Urea and 37% formaldehyde aqueous solution can be polycondensed under the catalysis of acid or alkali
The linear urea-formaldehyde oligomer is obtained, which is industrially used as a catalyst to react at about 95°C, and the molar ratio of formaldehyde/urea is 1.5 to 2.0 to ensure that the resin can be cured.
