The NVIDIA® MFS1S50-H015V is a high-performance, low-latency Active Optical Cable (AOC) designed to split a single 200Gb/s QSFP56 port into two independent 100Gb/s QSFP56 connections. Ideal for high-density data center environments, this fiber optic cable ensures reliable, high-speed connectivity with minimal power consumption and superior signal integrity.
This optical fiber cable complies with industry standards including SFF-8665, SFF-8636, and IBTA IB HDR. It uses VCSEL-based optical technology and PAM4 modulation to deliver high-speed data transfer over multi-mode fiber (MMF).
The AOC converts electrical signals into optical signals at the transmitter end, transmits light through multi-mode fiber, and converts it back to electrical signals at the receiver end. The splitter function allows one 200G port to communicate with two separate 100G devices simultaneously.
Ideal for high-performance computing (HPC), cloud data centers, enterprise networks, and storage area networks (SANs). Commonly used in switch-to-server connections, network aggregation, and scalable data center architectures.
