This passive fiber cable features MPO-12/APC (Angled Physical Contact) connectors on both ends, ensuring minimal signal reflection and optimal integrity for 400GbE, InfiniBand NDR, and NVLink applications. It provides a reliable, low-latency solution for connecting switches, adapters, and DPUs within a maximum reach of 50 meters.
The MFP7E10 cable leverages angled polishing (APC) technology to reduce optical back reflection, critical for maintaining signal quality in high-speed environments. It complies with international standards including IEC 61754-7 for MPO connectors and is designed for use with NVIDIA® Mellanox® networking equipment.
This passive fiber cable uses a crossed fiber arrangement (Type-B) where transmit lanes from one end connect to receive lanes on the opposite end. The APC polish with an 8-degree angle minimizes reflectance, ensuring clean signal transmission between transceivers such as the MMA4Z00-NS OSFP DR8.
