This QSFP28 DAC cable supports a data rate of 100 Gbps over four channels, each operating at 25 Gbps.
The cable complies with IEEE 802.3bj CA-25G-L standards with RS-FEC (Reed-Solomon Forward Error Correction) for enhanced signal integrity over longer distances. It is also SFF-8636 and SFF-8685 compliant, ensuring broad compatibility with QSFP28 ports.
The passive copper cable transmits electrical signals directly between QSFP28 ports without signal retiming or active components. Each of the four twisted copper pairs carries 25 Gbps data, achieving an aggregate bandwidth of 100 Gbps with minimal latency.
