The NVIDIA® MFS1S00-H020E is a high-performance 200Gb/s QSFP56 Active Optical Cable designed for data centers requiring high bandwidth, low latency, and extended reach. This fiber optic cable supports InfiniBand HDR and 200GbE applications, offering superior reliability and power efficiency compared to passive copper solutions.
This Active Optical Cable complies with SFF-8665, SFF-8636, and SFF-8679 standards. It uses VCSEL-based optical technology and supports PAM4 and NRZ modulation schemes. The cable integrates advanced signal retiming and equalization for optimal signal integrity.
The MFS1S00-H020E converts electrical signals into optical signals using integrated VCSEL transceivers at each end. Data is transmitted over four multi-mode fibers, each operating at 50Gb/s. The built-in DSP performs retiming, equalization, and error correction to ensure reliable data transmission over long distances.
