This Active Optical Cable utilizes VCSEL-based transceivers and advanced PAM4 signaling. It complies with SFF-8636 for management and supports programmable equalization, output amplitude, and clock data recovery (CDR) per lane.
The cable converts electrical signals into optical signals via integrated VCSEL transmitters. These signals are transmitted over multi-mode fiber and converted back to electrical signals at the receiving end, ensuring high-speed data transfer with minimal signal degradation.
