The 800G OSFP SR8 optical transceiver module (model CC-OSFP08SR8-12D) is designed for high-speed data centers and enterprise networks requiring reliable 800 Gigabit Ethernet and InfiniBand NDR connectivity. It supports transmission distances of up to 100m on OM4 fiber and features dual MPO-12 connectors for high-density deployments.
The module complies with IEEE P802.3db/D3.0, IEEE P802.3ck, and OSFP MSA specifications. It uses PAM4 modulation and supports CMIS management interface for real-time monitoring and configuration.
The 800g osfp transceiver converts electrical signals into optical signals using VCSEL arrays, transmitting over 8 lanes at 53.125 GBd per lane. It integrates digital diagnostics for real-time performance tracking including temperature, voltage, TX bias, and optical power.
