The 800G OSFP VR8 optical transceiver module (model CC-OSFP08VR8-12D) is a high-performance, hot-pluggable fiber optic solution designed for next-generation data centers and high-speed computing environments. It supports 800G Ethernet and InfiniBand NDR applications with a reach of up to 50 meters over OM4 multimode fiber. Compliant with the latest industry standards, this optical transceiver module offers low power consumption, advanced diagnostics, and robust performance in demanding network environments.
This 800G OSFP module adheres to IEEE P802.3db/D3.0 and IEEE P802.3ck standards. It uses PAM4 modulation with a signaling rate of 53.125 GBd per lane. The module is RoHS compliant and supports advanced monitoring functions as defined in the OSFP MSA.
The transceiver converts electrical signals into optical signals using an 850nm VCSEL array. It transmits and receives data over 8 optical lanes, each operating at 100Gbps. The dual MPO-12 connectors enable parallel optic connectivity, ensuring high bandwidth and low latency for data-intensive applications.
