This optical transceiver module utilizes WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology with four distinct wavelengths to achieve 100G throughput. It complies with IEEE 802.3ba standards for 100GBASE-LR4 applications and features advanced diagnostics for real-time performance monitoring.
The optical module employs four distributed feedback (DFB) lasers operating at different wavelengths to transmit data over single-mode fiber. The receiver section uses four PIN photodiodes to detect and convert the optical signals back to electrical format. Internal CDR circuits ensure signal integrity across the 10km distance.
