The NVIDIA MFP7E10-N050 is a high-performance passive fiber cable designed for 400G InfiniBand and Ethernet data center interconnects. With MPO12/APC connectors and OM4 multimode fiber, it supports up to 50m reach, low insertion loss, and high reliability in demanding environments.
The MFP7E10 Optical Fiber Cable utilizes MPO12/APC connectors with angled physical contact (APC) to minimize back reflection and ensure signal integrity. It complies with international standards including IEC 61754-7, ANSI/TIA/EIA 604-5, and Telcordia GR-1435.
The cable uses a Type-B crossover scheme where transmit lanes from one end connect to receive lanes on the opposite end. This enables direct connection between twin-port OSFP transceivers without additional hardware.
