800G OSFP SR8 optical transceiver module designed for high-bandwidth data centers and high-performance computing environments. It supports 800G Ethernet and InfiniBand NDR applications over multimode fiber with a reach of up to 100m on OM4. Compliant with industry standards, this hot-pluggable module offers low power consumption and robust performance.
This optical module uses PAM4 modulation with a per-lane signaling rate of 53.125 GBd. It complies with the OSFP MSA Type2 specification and supports Common Management Interface Specification (CMIS) Rev 5.0 or later for seamless integration and monitoring.
The transceiver converts electrical signals from the host system into optical signals using VCSEL arrays, transmitting over eight parallel fiber lanes. On the receive side, it converts incoming optical signals back to electrical data using integrated photodiodes, ensuring high-speed, low-latency communication.
