This is a flanged, metal-sealed butterfly valve, belonging to the category of industrial valve equipment.

This butterfly valve uses a flange connection, and the valve body is made of cast steel (marked "WCB"). The sealing surface is a metal-sealed structure, suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure industrial applications or those requiring high sealing performance, such as pipeline systems in the petroleum, chemical, and power industries, for controlling the flow of fluids. The valve is equipped with a worm gear drive at the top; the butterfly plate is opened and closed by rotating the handwheel, making operation relatively effortless and allowing for precise control.

Strong Corrosion and Wear Resistance: The valve body and sealing surfaces are mostly made of corrosion-resistant alloys (such as 304 stainless steel, duplex steel, Monel alloy, etc.), resisting corrosion and wear from acids, alkalis, salt spray, and particulate media. Suitable for pipeline systems using corrosive or abrasive media such as seawater desalination and mine tailings.

4. Compact Structure and Low Flow Resistance: The flanged design facilitates installation. The butterfly valve itself has a compact structure, minimizing obstruction of the fluid when open, resulting in a low flow resistance coefficient and reduced energy loss in the pipeline system. This is particularly advantageous in large-diameter pipelines (e.g., DN500 and above).

6. Versatile Media Applications: In addition to conventional water, oil, and gas, it can also be used with media containing solid particles and fibers (such as pulp and fly ash slurry). Due to the wear resistance of the metal hard seal, it is less prone to seal failure due to media abrasion.
