The PVC-coated Gabion wire mesh is an erosion control device designed for stabilizing slopes to prevent soil erosion, It's also ideal for retaining walls, restoring streambed or channel lining, filtering silt, and blocking flood, It's compartmented every three feet for easy installation and accurate measurements
Gabion wire mesh is normally used for Civil works, channels, river & Streamworks, and earth retention like soil reinforcement, river training, erosion control, and fascia systems, all with or without extra organic coating, and all coated with zinc, or zinc-aluminum alloy, or non-ferrous advanced metallic materials.
Additionally, they can be utilized in other load-bearing and non-load-bearing construction projects, such as those involving architectural cladding, free-standing walls and fences, sound barriers, and noise reduction measures.
In the application in geotechnical structures, metal gabion baskets replace and redistribute all the transverse stress and deformation of gabion filling (stacked stone and/or aggregate ballast) and retained earthwork

d) Mesh size;
e) Wire diameter (mesh wire and lacing wire);
f) Coating type and class of coating, if applicable,
g) Characteristics of the eventual organic coating, if applicable;
h) Inspection documentation requirements.
