How to face the lathe at the end of the part?
 
The first thing you need to do is to set up the tool. Loosen the tool holder and tilt the tool about 10 to 15 degrees from the end of the blank to leave a little gap at the end. We also need to center the tool vertically.
 
How to use lathe finishing tools on lathe/lathe?
 
Fix the workpiece on the CNC lathe, and install the end tool into the tool holder of the frame. When the tool rotates in the jaws of the chuck, it will feed vertically along the rotation axis of the part to cut the workpiece to an accurate Length required. CNC machine tools can provide power feed instead of manual feed to obtain a smoother surface finish.
