Sheet-metal fabricated parts are thin-walled components cut, bent, punched and joined from cold-rolled steel, stainless, aluminum or copper sheets. Starting with flat blanks, processes such as laser cutting, turret punching and water-jetting create holes, slots and outer profiles with tolerances down to ±0.1 mm. CNC press-brakes then form flanges, ribs and louvers by air-bending, bottoming or coining along programmed bend lines, while roll forming delivers continuous curved sections. Secondary operations add countersinks, embosses and threading. Fasteners are inserted by press-in PEM studs or rivet nuts, and multi-spot welding, TIG, MIG or laser welding assemblies. To resist corrosion and improve appearance, parts are degreased, phosphate-coated, anodized or powder-coated. Finally, optical and touch-probe CMMs verify critical dimensions. Resulting enclosures, brackets, chassis and panels serve electronics, automotive and aerospace industries with lightweight, cost-effective strength.
