Available Titanium Ball Valve Types
Floating Ball Valve
Features a straightforward design where the ball moves slightly under medium pressure to achieve sealing. Ideal for general fluid control applications under medium to low pressure and temperature conditions.
Features a fixed ball within the valve body with flow control achieved through stem rotation. This design provides reliable sealing and operational performance for high pressure and high temperature applications.
V-Port Ball Valve
Incorporates a V-shaped ball design for enhanced regulation performance and precise fluid control, making it suitable for applications requiring accurate flow regulation.
Multi-Port Ball Valve
Features multiple inlet and outlet passages to enable complex fluid distribution and merging functions, ideal for sophisticated fluid control systems.
Operating Principle
Titanium ball valves control fluid flow through rotational movement of a sphere within the valve body, consisting of valve body, sphere, stem, and sealing components.
Open Position
When fully open, the sphere aligns parallel to the pipeline flow direction, allowing unrestricted fluid passage.
Closed Position
When fully closed, the sphere rotates perpendicular to the pipeline, effectively blocking fluid passage.
Intermediate Positions
Partial rotation of the stem allows the sphere to partially obstruct flow area, enabling precise flow regulation.
Sealing performance relies on tight contact between the sphere and valve seat, typically using elastic sealing components like O-rings or PTFE seals to ensure reliable leak prevention. Operation is achieved through stem rotation, with options for manual operation, electric actuators, or pneumatic actuators for remote control.
