1. Product Introduction of Cement Plant Equipments Small Drum Mixer
The small drum mixer is a lightweight mobile mixing machine with compact structure and easy operation. Its drum is made of thickened silicon-manganese steel plate for outstanding wear resistance and deformation resistance. Two types are available: belt drive and eight-wheel drive, matched with 2/3-shaft gearboxes for stable power output. Featuring light overall weight, the machine can be moved with single-person assistance. Customized for small-scale construction scenarios, it delivers high efficiency when mixing cement, sand, mortar, concrete and other materials, serving as essential mixing machinery for civil construction and mini projects.
2. Working Principle of Cement Plant Equipments Small Drum Mixer
The motor drives the gearbox for transmission to rotate the drum at a constant speed continuously. The curved inner surface of the drum lifts, drops and tumbles materials repeatedly. Full convection mixing is realized by material self-weight and drum rotation. The eight-wheel support structure evenly holds the cylinder to prevent slipping and offset during operation. Sand, cement and water circulate and blend thoroughly inside the drum to achieve uniform mixing within a short time, with smooth discharge and no residual materials, completing the whole mixing process of concrete and mortar.
