Brief Introduction
The flotation machine is suitable for the separation of non-ferrous and ferrous metals, and can also be used for the separation of non-metals such as coal, fluorite and talc. The flotation machine has the following features: large air intake and low power consumption. Each slot has the triple functions of suction, slurry suction and flotation, forming its own flotation circuit without any auxiliary equipment. The configuration is horizontal, facilitating process changes.
The flotation machine adopts a "U" -shaped tank, hollow shaft aeration and suspended stator, especially a new type of impeller. This is a conical impeller with blades inclined backward at an Angle, similar to the impeller of a centrifugal pump with a high specific speed. It features a large slurry lifting capacity, a small head, low power consumption and a simple structure. A multi-hole cylindrical air distributor is also installed in the impeller cavity, enabling the air to be pre-evenly dispersed in most areas of the impeller blades and providing a larger slurry-air contact interface.
Working principle
Mix the mashed rocks with water and necessary reagent in the mixing chute, and inject them to the pulp chute. Lead air to the pulp to make it form large quantities of bubbles, and some mineral particles that are difficult to get moist in water and that are generally called hydrophobic mineral particles will stick on the bubbles and float with the bubbles to the surface of the pulp to form mineralized bubble layer, and some other mineral particles that are easy to get moist in water and that are called hydrophilic mineral particles do not stick on the bubbles but stay in the pulp to discharge the mineralized bubbles containing specific minerals, thus completing the separation process.
Usage and Maintenance
1.The working capacity and working hours of the flotation machine like other machines are determined by maintenance and the main part of the normal working part of all 3-4 months of work has been carefully checked, but in the first few months of the new flotation machine's work should be checked frequently;
2.Only skilled personnel can carry out the inspection.
