Rotary kiln parts Girth Gear offered find extensive application in different industry sectors including in sponge iron plants, steel & cement industry, mining industry, wind mills as well as in other industry sectors. These are made available in module range of 10 Module to 70 Module and in minimum diameters of 100 mm to 15000 mm. Further, these comprise maximum weight of 70 MT single pieces. Here the range of hardened & ground gear boxes/gears comprise Worm gear boxes, Helical / Double helical gears/gearboxes, Helical-Bevel gearboxes, Planetary Gearboxes and others.
 

Technical requirements
1) The pretreatment before surface quenching is normalizing treatment, and the hardness should be HB210~250; the mechanical performance indicators are strength limit Rb690MPa, yield limit Rs490MPa, elongation D511%, cross-sectional shrinkage W25%, and impact toughness value Ak30J; the gear teeth are induction hardened, and the hardness is HRC50~55; the effective hardened layer depth is 3~5mm.
2) The whole is subjected to ultrasonic flaw detection, and the internal quality should meet the secondary requirements specified in GB7233-87 standard; the gear teeth and transition fillets are subjected to magnetic particle flaw detection, and the quality should meet the secondary requirements specified in GB/T9444-88 standard.
3) The fillet is not cast R5~R10.
4) The ends of the tooth shape and the edges along the tooth width are chamfered.
5) The large gear ring is composed of two half gear rings connected by high-strength bolts to form an integral gear ring, and the joint surface must be at the center of the tooth bottom.
