Product Structure Features
  • Good high temperature resistance: XLPE insulation uses chemical or physical methods to change the structure of polyethylene molecules into a three-dimensional network structure. The three-dimensional network structure has good heat resistance and can be used in long-term work at a high temperature of 90 degrees Celsius, with lifespan up to 40 years.
  • Excellent insulation performance: The performance of polyethylene not only retains the insulation performance of cross-linked polyethylene, but also has further improvement in insulation resistance.
  • High mechanical properties: Enhanced hardness, stiffness, wear resistance and impact resistance.
  • Chemical resistance: XLPE itself has strong acid and alkali resistance and oil resistance.
  • Environmental protection: Since the products of cross-linked polyethylene combustion are water and carbon dioxide, environmental pollution is low, meeting fire safety requirements.
  • Temperature ratings: Maximum rated temperature of cable conductor is 90°C, and maximum temperature during short circuit (duration not exceeding 5S) does not exceed 250°C.

  • YJV, YJLV: XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed power cables suitable for indoors, tunnels, pipes, and buried in soil (not subject to mechanical force)
  • YJV22, YJLV22: XLPE insulated, steel tape armored PVC sheathed power cables suitable for indoor, tunnel, pipe penetration, and buried in soil
  • YJV32, 42, YJLV32, 42: XLPE insulated, steel wire armored PVC sheathed power cables suitable for shafts, water, places with drop, and can withstand external forces
Operating Conditions
  • Normal operation: Maximum conductor temperature shall be 70℃ for PVC insulation and 90℃ for XLPE insulation
  • Short circuit conditions: Maximum temperature during short circuit (duration ≤5 seconds): PVC insulation - 160℃ for conductor cross section ≤300mm², 140℃ for cross section >300mm²; XLPE insulation at 250℃
  • Installation requirements: Ambient temperature shall not be less than 0℃ during cable laying
  • Minimum bending radius: Single core cable: unarmored 20D, armored 15D; Multi-core cable: 15D for unarmored, 12D for armored (where D = actual outer diameter of cable)
  • Cable breaking force: Aluminum core cable: 40*S (N); Copper core cable: 70*S (N)
