Double Cylinder Carding Machine II
Working Principle
  1. The front vibrating cotton box delivers a uniform cotton layer, which then enters the feeding roller + cutting roller for initial loosening
  2. Chest cylinder (the first cylinder): Pre-combination, disperses large cotton clumps, initially mixes different fibers (PET + low-melting-point fibers / jute / glass fiber), and removes some cotton knots
  3. The transferred roller transports it to the main cylinder (the second cylinder), where multiple working rollers + stripping rollers perform fine combing, allowing the fibers to be fully single-fiberized
  4. The drum condenses the cotton web, and the disordered roller changes the fiber orientation, reducing the strength difference in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the cotton web
  5. The cotton stripping roller continuously outputs a smooth cotton web, which is then sent to the cross-laying machine for layering
Core logic: Two-level sorting = Pre-sorting + Fine-sorting, with an additional combing step compared to a single cylinder, resulting in better uniformity of the cotton web and fewer cotton knots, making it suitable for high-weight, thick non-woven products.
