Production Process Flow

Glass fiber short-cut fibers packaging → Unpacking machine → Multi-bin blending machine → Coarse loosening → Fine loosening + impurity removal → Air pressure cotton box (two independent feeding channels)

Dual-unit six-lap combing unit (two sets of 3-lap combing machines operating simultaneously to release fibers)

Two layers of fiber nets are merged and sent to Cross laying machine for multi-layer stacking and thickening → Pre-needling → Heavy-duty main needling (up and down interlacing) → Heat setting oven → (optional spray glue / impregnation curing for making hard insulation panels) → Online thickness measurement / weight detection → Edge cutting → Cutting board / winding

Key Process Points: The glass fibers are almost non-twisted, and a single set of combing results in a thin net with limited output; two sets of six-lap combing machines operate in parallel, with two fiber nets combined, significantly improving the uniformity and production capacity of the single-layer fiber net, and better controlling the CV value of the thick plate weight; pure white glass can be used, or a small amount of PET/Bico low-melting-point fibers can be added to enhance the adhesion of the felt.

Complete System Equipment Configuration

Opening and Mixing System (for glass fibers)
Opening packages, multi-bin blending, coarse loosening, fine loosening, gravity separation; the glass fiber dust is large, negative pressure full enclosure + high-power central dust removal, it must be equipped with labor protection and dust explosion-proof design.
Dual-Set Six-Lap Combing Main Machine (core)
Two independent 3-lap combing units, totaling 6 laps; reinforced cast iron frame, hard wear-resistant special needle cloth (ordinary needle cloth is prone to rapid wear); independent variable frequency drive, two fiber nets are separately quantitatively compensated; the glass fiber is brittle, the combing roller speed ratio is gentle to reduce fiber breakage.
Composite Cross-Laying Machine
After the two fiber nets converge, they are cross-laid in multiple layers, quickly constructing a thick fiber net, ensuring the balance of longitudinal and transverse strength of the thick plate.
Needling Machine Set
Pre-needling + multiple heavy-duty cross-needling machines; select glass fiber-specific coarse needles, reducing the breakage rate; the planting density is moderate, and excessive needling should not be performed to avoid a large number of fiber fractures and brittleness.
Post-Forming Unit
Heat setting oven (eliminate internal stress, stabilize dimensions); optional glue spraying system, impregnation and curing oven, directly made into hard glass fiber insulation board (not just roll material); online surface density + thickness detection; wide-edge cutting, cutting machine (can be directly cut into board specifications), reel and winding dual-purpose.
PLC Full-line Interconnected Control System, two independent cotton box quantitative closed-loop compensation.
