Choose the Right Time

  • Apply to Clean, Moisturized Skin: The best time to apply perfume is right after a shower. Pat your skin dry but leave it slightly damp, or apply an unscented moisturizer first. Hydrated skin holds fragrance molecules much longer than dry skin.

  • If the bottle has a cap, remove it. Some sprays have a protective cap over the nozzle itself.
Target the "Pulse Points"

  • These are areas where your blood vessels are closest to the skin, generating more heat. This warmth helps to diffuse and amplify the fragrance throughout the day.

    • Wrists

    • Base of the throat/neck

    • Behind the ears

    • Inner elbows

    • Behind the knees
The Art of the Spritz

  • Don't Rub: Spray the fragrance onto your pulse points. Crucially, do not rub your wrists together after applying. This friction crushes the top notes of the fragrance, alters the scent chemistry, and makes it fade faster. Instead, let it dry naturally.

  • Light Mist: A single, short press is usually enough for each pulse point. You can always add more.

Let it Dry and Settle

  • Give the perfume a minute to settle and interact with your skin's natural chemistry. The scent you smell after 15-30 minutes (the "heart" of the fragrance) is how it will truly wear on you.
