Function:
The role of the solenoid valve of the crane telescopic cylinder mainly includes the following aspects:
1. control of telescopic action: through the solenoid valve power on and off, can control the hydraulic oil into or out of the telescopic cylinder, so as to realize the boom or rope outstretched and retracted. When the solenoid valve is energized, the oil circuit is connected, and the pressure oil enters the rodless cavity or rod cavity of the telescopic cylinder, pushing the piston to move, so that the boom is extended or contracted; when the solenoid valve is de-energized, the oil circuit is cut off, and the piston stops moving, so that the boom remains stationary.
2. Adjusting the speed of expansion and contraction: some solenoid valves can adjust the flow of oil into or out of the expansion cylinder by changing the size of the valve port or the degree of throttling, so as to control the speed of boom expansion and contraction. The operator can realize the speed adjustment of telescopic speed by manipulating the handle or button of the solenoid valve according to the actual working demand, in order to meet different working scenarios.
3. Sequential expansion and contraction: In a multi-section telescopic boom crane, the solenoid valve can cooperate with the corresponding control valve block and logic circuit to realize the sequential expansion and contraction of the telescopic boom. For example, extend the big arm first, then the small arm, etc., to ensure the smoothness and safety of the telescopic process, and avoid the interference and collision between the sections of the arm.
4. Ensure safety and reliability: solenoid valves are usually used in conjunction with other hydraulic control components such as counterbalance valves to ensure the safety of the crane telescopic operation. The balance valve can prevent the boom from falling quickly or losing control due to gravity and other factors when the load of the telescopic cylinder changes, while the solenoid valve is responsible for accurately controlling the flow of oil to ensure that the whole telescopic process is stable and reliable.
