Function:
The two-way hydraulic lock of the crane mainly has the following functions:
1,Prevent the heavy object from sliding down by itself
When the crane stops working or is in a static state, the two-way hydraulic lock closes the import and export oil circuit of the hydraulic cylinder through its internal structure, so that the pressure oil in the hydraulic cylinder cannot flow, thus preventing the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder from sliding down by itself under the action of the weight. Even when the oil pump stops supplying oil and the reversing valve is in the neutral position, it ensures that the weight remains stable and avoids accidental descent caused by the weight's own weight[^1^][^2^].
When the crane carries out lifting operations, if it is necessary to briefly stop or adjust the position, the two-way hydraulic lock can prevent the goods from slowly sliding down due to gravity, ensuring the stability and safety of the goods in the air.
2, the role of pressure preservation
In the hydraulic system, when the oil pump stops supplying oil, or the reversing valve in the neutral position, the load cylinder is subjected to two directions of the force is not fixed, the pressure oil in the cylinder is easy to leak from the reversing valve gap. Bidirectional hydraulic lock is installed between the reversing valve and the cylinder, which can close the inlet and outlet oil circuit of the cylinder, prevent the pressure oil from leaking, and play the role of pressure preservation, so as to stabilize the piston of the load cylinder and ensure the normal work of the machinery.
When the crane maintains a certain action or posture for a long time, such as the support state of the outrigger, the pressure-retaining function of the two-way hydraulic lock can prevent the outrigger from gradually sinking due to the leakage of the internal pressure, so as to ensure the stability and reliability of the crane.
3,Improve system stability and safety
The two-way hydraulic lock can effectively keep the hydraulic cylinder or hydraulic motor fixed at a specific position, avoiding the shaking and tilting of the load and other dangerous situations that may be caused by the instability of the hydraulic system, and improving the working stability and safety of the whole system.
