Function:
Crane relief valve is an important pressure control element in the hydraulic system, its main role includes the following aspects:
1. safety protection
The relief valve can limit the maximum working pressure in the hydraulic system. When the system pressure exceeds the set value, the relief valve will automatically open, the excess hydraulic oil overflow back to the tank, thus preventing the hydraulic components and pipelines due to high pressure damage.
2. Stabilising system pressure
Relief valve can maintain the system in a certain pressure range, effectively avoiding the impact of pressure fluctuations on the equipment. In the quantitative pump oil supply system, relief valves and throttle valves with, can regulate and balance the flow in the hydraulic system.
3. Achieve pressure regulation
The relief valve can be used as a pressure regulating element to set and control the maximum working pressure of the system. By adjusting the setting parameters of the relief valve, the pressure of the hydraulic system can be precisely controlled.
4. Shunt and relief control
When the flow rate of the hydraulic pump is too large, the relief valve will direct the excess hydraulic oil back to the tank, preventing the actuating elements from being subjected to excessive flow shocks.
5. Auxiliary energy saving
In specific energy recovery circuits, the relief valve can use the overflow hydraulic oil for other purposes, thus improving energy efficiency.
6. System unloading
Relief valves can reduce system pressure through the unloading function, thus enabling energy-efficient operation.
7. Back pressure generation
Connecting a relief valve in series on the return line creates back pressure and smoothes the movement of the actuator.
