Product Description:

Poultry Plucker (also known as poultry defeathering machines or automatic plucking machines) are core auxiliary equipment in poultry slaughtering and processing. They are specifically designed for removing feathers from chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, quails, and other types of poultry after slaughter. They can efficiently remove feathers, fine hairs, sebum, and skin from the surface of the poultry, as well as assist in cleaning surface dirt. They completely replace traditional manual plucking, significantly improve plucking efficiency, and ensure the quality of the poultry. They are essential equipment for modern poultry farming, slaughtering, processing, and food service industries.
 
The core operation of the equipment relies on the dual action of centrifugal force and frictional rubbing, making the process simple and efficient: First, the poultry that has been scalded (chicken 58–62℃, duck and goose 60–64℃, scalded for 1-2 minutes to ensure feathers and skin separate) is placed into the plucking cylinder. After starting the motor, the plucking disc (or plucking roller) rotates at high speed. Under the action of centrifugal force, the poultry is thrown to the edge of the cylinder wall, where it engages in relative motion with the rubber rods on the wall. Through gentle rubbing and tapping, feathers, fine hairs, and surface impurities are quickly removed from the poultry's surface. The removed feathers and debris fall through the gap between the plucking disc and the plucking cylinder under the action of centrifugal force and water flow (spray system), and are scraped out by a scraper rod and discharged through the waste outlet, completing the integrated operation of plucking and cleaning. The entire process takes only 20–50 seconds (20–30 seconds for chicken, 40–50 seconds for duck and goose), making it
 
The structure of the poultry plucking machine is designed to meet the needs of plucking, with simple and durable core components. It mainly consists of the following parts: a frame, a plucking cylinder (or plucking roller), a plucking turntable, a drive motor, a pulley (or chain drive mechanism), and a waste outlet. Some models are also equipped with a spray cleaning system, a variable frequency speed control device, and an emergency stop switch. The inner wall of the plucking cylinder (or plucking roller) and the turntable are fitted with food-grade high-elastic rubber rods (or beef tendon rods), which are designed to mimic manual rubbing. This design can efficiently capture feathers while avoiding damage to the poultry's skin, making it a key component for ensuring effective plucking and maintaining the quality of the poultry.
