The model's elegance is derived from a meticulous selection of materials, including acrylic, ABS, copper plates, SLA, and authentic wood. Each material plays a pivotal role in capturing the essence of the luxurious retreat envisioned for Nanhu Town.
The initial phase unfolds within a 4-meter diameter circular terrain model, showcasing a lakeside villa community at a 1:500 scale. This centerpiece resides in the main exhibition hall, complemented by video content on wall-mounted LED screens. The architectural elements are primarily realized through a combination of 3D printing and manual craftsmanship.
The project's landscape is a canvas of creativity. Mountains are artfully represented through 3D printing, with a unique vertical acrylic slicing technique giving them an abstract, artistic allure. The surface is adorned with a subtle green hue, while the mountain interiors boast a frosted effect. The overall design emphasizes the project's prime location, topographical advantages, and transport infrastructure.
The base, an irregular form measuring 7.5x4.5m, symbolizes an inverted mountain. This unconventional design echoes the natural landscapes of the project, creating a visual harmony. The base's irregular shape enhances the overall aesthetic, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the terrain model.
The creation of the Nanhu Town Terrain Model demanded 40 days of dedicated craftsmanship. From the careful articulation of mountains to the intricate detailing of lakes, every element stands as a testament to QZY's commitment to excellence.
