Project Overview
IBA’s proton therapy equipment stands for state-of-the-art oncological radiotherapy technology. It adopts high-energy proton beams to target tumours accurately. Compared with conventional radiation therapy, it greatly reduces damage to surrounding healthy tissues and delivers fewer adverse side effects.
The complete system consists of core modules including proton accelerators, beam transmission pipelines and multi-functional treatment gantries. This set of scaled models visually demonstrates the layout of treatment bunkers, equipment arrangement, workflow and working mechanism of the whole proton therapy centre.
Custom Manufacturing Highlights
Entrusted by IBA, QZYMODELS produced three sets of proton therapy system demonstration models in different scales: 1:30, 1:50 and 1:70. These finished models will be exhibited at facilities in Shanghai, Chengdu and Huizhou.
Every scaled replica faithfully restores the actual medical system, intuitively displaying therapy theories, operational workflows and simulated dynamic treatment processes. Intricate details are implemented for rotating gantry treatment rooms, fixed-beam treatment rooms, laser positioning systems, access corridors and auxiliary functional zones inside the proton therapy building.
Our professional engineering modelling team spent 3 weeks on data analysis, structural design and 3D modelling. Once the design scheme obtained full client confirmation, we completed all fabrication work within another 3 weeks. The highly detailed finished models won full recognition from IBA.
