A bolted tank that stores edible oil without a bare steel surface ever touching the product. The glass-fused lining is fired into the panel, so it cannot peel, taint the oil, or corrode. Sized to your volume and built to move with your plant.
Each panel is a low-carbon steel sheet with a vitreous enamel layer fused to both faces at roughly 820 to 900 °C. The firing turns glass powder into a continuous, non-porous skin that becomes part of the steel, not a film that sits on top of it. After shot blasting removes mill scale, oil and rust, the panel is enamelled on both sides to about 0.3 mm.
On site the panels are joined with self-locking bolts and sealing gaskets. No welding, no field painting, no curing wait. The result is a cylindrical tank whose entire wetted surface is glass, so edible oil contacts an inert, food-safe lining from the first fill to the last draw.
Edible oils are sensitive to taste transfer, oxidation and metal contact. A glass-fused lining answers all three at once, which is why food plants specify it over painted or epoxy-coated steel.
No taste transfer
The enamel is inorganic and non-porous. It carries no plasticiser and gives off no odour, so palm, soybean, sunflower or olive oil keeps its native profile in storage.
Hygienic and easy to clean
A smooth glass face gives bacteria and sludge nowhere to cling. CIP and manual wash-down are quicker, which matters for food-safety audits.
No internal corrosion
Free fatty acids and trace moisture attack bare steel and epoxy. The fused enamel shrugs both off, so there is no repaint or reline cycle inside the tank.
Full coverage, including the holes
Bolt holes, flanges, pipe fittings, ladder and platform are all enamelled in the same furnace run. The most exposed points get the same protection as the flat face.

Our ECPC enamelling process puts the corrosion barrier in the furnace, not on the jobsite. That removes the plate-thickness ceiling you hit with coil-formed (LIPP-style) tanks, where the steel must reach a certain gauge just to hold its shape. For large-diameter edible oil tanks this means we can specify the panel thickness the structure needs, not the thickness the process allows.
For edible oil the choice usually comes down to four builds. None is wrong; the fit depends on life, hygiene and whether the tank must ever move.

Yes. The enamel is an inorganic, non-porous glass fired into the steel. It carries no plasticiser and gives off no odour, so the oil profile is unchanged. Food-plant audits accept it where the lining is rated to the relevant standard.
Because it is bolted, not welded, you can add ring courses to grow capacity or unbolt the whole tank and re-erect it at a new site. The foundation is the only part that stays put.
Standard panels run 3 to 13 mm, with 20 mm available for high loads. Our ECPC furnace process sets the lining before forming, so there is no plate-thickness ceiling like the one coil-formed tanks hit on large diameters.
The glass lining is rated for 30+ years. The steel and bolts last even longer. Life moves with the oil chemistry and cleaning routine, so ask for the panel test data for your product.
