A spiral steel silo with a cone-shaped bottom stores flour and other food powders in one sealed stainless shell, then lets the material flow out by gravity through the cone. The fully enclosed, airtight build keeps the powder clean and dry, while sensors watch temperature and moisture so the stock stays within spec.
Powder behaves differently from grain. It bridges, cakes and sticks to flat floors, so a cone bottom is the practical choice for complete discharge. The cone funnels the flour toward a single outlet, and gravity carries it out without manual digging or compressed air. The angle is set to the material: a steeper cone drains faster and leaves less residue, while a shallower cone is simpler to wash between batches.
The shell is stainless steel, fully enclosed and airtight, so the flour stays clean from the day it is filled to the day it is drawn. Insects and moisture cannot enter through the wall, and the smooth interior gives no ledge for residue to build up. For a food plant, that means the stock meets hygiene rules and reaches the line without rework.
Why airtight matters for powder
Flour absorbs damp from the air and turns lumpy, then spoils. A sealed cone silo holds the moisture out and the temperature steady, so the powder flows free and stays safe for consumption.
The silo can carry cooling, heating or ventilation to hold the flour at the right temperature, and sensors track temperature, moisture and quality inside the stock. That live read lets the operator act before a hot spot or damp patch spreads, which is hard to do in a plain bin. The build is set to the climate and the product run.
