KAILONG Sand Core Making Machine – Professional Overview
The KAILONG Sand Core Making Machine is a high‑precision, automated system designed for the production of complex sand cores used in metal casting. Utilizing the core shooting (blowing) principle, it delivers resin‑coated sand or chemically bonded sand into a core box under controlled pressure, producing dense, homogeneous cores with excellent dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Constructed with a rigid welded steel frame and high‑grade guide columns, KAILONG machines ensure stable operation under repetitive high‑pressure cycles. The core shooting head features a multi‑nozzle design with adjustable flow control, enabling uniform sand filling even for intricate cavities and thin sections. Pneumatic or hydraulic clamping systems provide core box locking forces ranging from 5 to 50 tons, depending on model, ensuring minimal flash and consistent core density.
Key technological features include a programmable logic controller (PLC) with human‑machine interface (HMI) for recipe storage and real‑time monitoring of shooting pressure, curing time, and blow cycle. Machines are available for both hot‑box (with electric heating platens up to 250 °C) and cold‑box (with amine gas or SO₂ curing) processes. An integrated sand feed hopper, level sensors, and automatic sand refill system reduce manual intervention and improve productivity.
KAILONG sand core makers are equipped with wear‑resistant tool steel core box guides and a centralized lubrication system to minimize maintenance downtime. The machine frame and guarding comply with CE safety standards, including interlocked doors and emergency stops.
