N-methylpyrrolidone, abbreviated as NMP, is a colorless and transparent oily liquid with a slight amine odor.
Mainly used in the processes of new energy and semiconductor panel industries, as a solvent for mixed electrode materials, conductive agents, and adhesives, cleaning polyimide, removing photoresist, and other processes.
It is an important chemical raw material with advantages such as low toxicity, high boiling point, strong solubility, non flammability, biodegradability, recyclability, safe use, and suitability for various formula applications.
1. Packaging: 1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidinone(NMP) has non reactive chemical properties and is non corrosive to other metals such as carbon steel and aluminum, except for copper. Packaged in galvanized iron drums, each weighing 50kg or 100kg. Small packages are packaged in glass bottles to avoid light exposure.
2. Storage: 1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidinone(NMP) should be kept in a cool, dry, well ventilated place, away from heat sources, ignition sources, and incompatible substances. Keep the container upright and sealed.
1. Industrial grade: Lubricant refining, lubricant antifreeze, synthetic gas desulfurization, electronic insulation materials, agricultural herbicides, pesticide additives, PVC exhaust gas recovery, additives and dispersants for the production of high-end coatings, inks, pigments, etc.
For example, it can be used to extract aromatic hydrocarbons from lubricating oil to achieve the purpose of refining lubricating oil; Due to its high solubility in resin, NMP can be specifically used as a solvent for resin processing in the manufacture of coatings, floor paints, varnishes, composite coating films, integrated circuit enameled wire insulation materials, fiber fabrics, adhesives, and other products.
2. Ordinary grade: Extraction and recovery of basic organic raw materials, such as acetylene concentration and extraction of butadiene, isoprene, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc. Can be used as a solvent for recovering acetylene from natural gas or light naphtha pyrolysis gas, with a purity of 99.7% for concentrated acetylene recovery;
Chemicalbook is used as an extractant for separating and recovering high-purity butadiene from cracked C4 hydrocarbons, with a recovery rate of 97% and a purity of 99.7%. It is also used as an extractant for recovering high-purity isoprene from cracked C5 hydrocarbons, with a purity of 99%;
When used as an aromatic hydrocarbon extractant, due to its high solubility and low vapor pressure, the loss rate of extractant is low and the recovery rate of aromatic hydrocarbons is high during the process.
3. Reagent grade: industries such as integrated circuits and hard drives require strict control of metal ions and particles for degreasing, defatting, dewaxing, polishing, rust prevention, and paint stripping.
For example, it is used as a photoresist removal solution, and for cleaning precision instruments, LCD liquid crystal materials, PCB printed circuit boards, and hard drives in the IC semiconductor industry; And solvents produced in the pharmaceutical industry such as artificial kidney function membrane solution and seawater desalination membrane solution.
