Corundum-mullite saggers are high-temperature bearing containers specially designed for tunnel kilns, pusher kilns and shuttle kilns. Composited with corundum and mullite crystalline phases, they can withstand high temperatures ranging from 1400℃ to 1650℃. Featuring excellent thermal shock resistance, low impurity precipitation, and strong resistance to erosion by acid-base powder, they isolate flue gas inside kilns to prevent sintered materials from contamination, oxidation and adhesion. They act as core kiln furniture for high-temperature calcination and co-firing of powder and ceramic parts.
Applicable materials: High-nickel ternary materials NCM811/NCM622, lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganate, lithium iron phosphate precursors

Process scenarios: Pre-calcination of powder, high-temperature sintering of magnetic blanks. The powder rubs against sagger inner walls for a long time, requiring high wear resistance and resistance to alkali metal vapor erosion. Compared with ordinary high-alumina saggers, material loss is reduced by 40%.
Applicable materials: Rare earth oxides, phosphor powder, long afterglow luminous powder, nano inorganic powder
Scenarios: High-purity powder synthesis. Strict control of impurity precipitation from saggers to avoid failure of powder hue and luminescence performance. Mostly used for small-batch precision firing in intermittent shuttle kilns.
Applicable products: Zirconia ceramics, alumina wear-resistant parts, dental zirconia blanks, ceramic cutting tools, ceramic valves
Process: Pressureless sintering at 1450℃~1650℃, integrated degreasing and firing. Small customized precision saggers are adopted in the dental industry for single-piece firing of dental ceramic blanks.
Applicable materials: Tungsten-cobalt cemented carbide, cermet powder, pressed metal powder blanks
Advantages: Resist penetration of molten metals, maintain stable shape at high temperature, compatible with both oxidizing and weak reducing atmospheres; reduce alloy impurity and bulging defects.
