MicMeta is ultra-small lightweight diffusion multi-gas monitor with complete global explosion-proof certifications. When configured for SO2 detection, it adopts stable electrochemical sensor with independently selectable measuring ranges and resolution. It integrates auto power-on self-test, multi-dimensional alarm and local data recording, with optional wireless module and calibration dock for convenient daily maintenance.
Sulfur dioxide is highly irritating toxic exhaust gas generated from coal combustion, non-ferrous smelting and sulfur chemical production. Short exposure causes throat and eye irritation, while long-term inhalation triggers severe respiratory lesions; it is also the primary pollutant causing acid rain. The diffusion sampling design supports continuous ambient gas monitoring for power plants, smelters and environmental supervision stations.
