Introduction to Methyl Bromide (CH3Br)
Methyl bromide is a highly toxic volatile fumigant widely applied in grain storage, cargo quarantine and pest control. Inhalation of its vapor can cause severe damage to the nervous system and respiratory tract, and the substance also depletes the ozone layer. The built-in sampling pump actively draws gas from airtight silos and enclosed fumigation zones to test residual concentration and avoid operator poisoning hazards.
