HJY's Optical Circulator is a non-reciprocal passive device that directs light signals sequentially between ports (e.g., Port 1→2, Port 2→3, Port 3→1). It utilizes Faraday rotation and birefringent crystals to enable bidirectional optical routing with minimal loss. Key features include low insertion loss, high isolation, and compact design, making it ideal for telecommunications, fiber sensing, and dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) systems.

Application Diagram:
Circulator can be used to send optical signals through a single fiber in two directions. As the picture shows: A circulator is located at both ends of the fiber. Each circulator functions to add a signal in one direction while removing the signal in the other. see the example to the left.
