Eddy Current Surface and Near-surface Metal Defects Weld Probe with Cable
The eddy current weld probe is a specialized eddy current testing device for detecting surface and near-surface defects in welds. Based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, it can penetrate coatings for detection and resist surface roughness interference. It is suitable for non-destructive testing of various metal welds.

Core principle:
An alternating magnetic field is generated by the excitation coil, inducing eddy currents in the weld metal. Defects will change the path of the eddy currents. The receiving coil captures the changes in the magnetic field and converts them into electrical signals, which are then processed to identify the defects. The weld seam probe is specially designed to adapt to the rough surface of the weld seam, suppress the lifting noise and improve the defect detection rate.
