Vacuum Box Weld Leakage Detection System of Welds on The Bottom Plate of Oil Storage Tank 

1. Product introduction

In order to improve the overall inspection of oil storage tank, our company has specially designed and developed a series of vacuum tank detection systems for the detection of leakage of welds on the bottom plate of oil storage tank.

The standard, portable vacuum tank detection system can detect the lap/butt weld on the bottom plate of any size of storage tank, and the circumferential weld (fillet weld) on the bottom plate of storage tank with a diameter of more than 5 meters. For the integrity evaluation of various welds, our vacuum box detection system is an efficient, fast and economical detection method, and the detection rate of penetrating corrosion/pinholes is not less than 95%.

2. Special features

1) Normal model generally use the hand to press the box, so it will be very tired, we improved the need to bend over directly with the feet

2) When moving, we have wheels under tank; don't need to lift the tank to move

3) The vacuum pump can take remote control of the robot, the site is very convenient.

3. Technical parameter requirements:

3.1 Vacuum box for testing lap and butt welds

3.1.1 Vacuum degree: not less than 60kPa;

3.1.2 Weld detection length: not less than 800mm;

3.1.3 Check the types of welds: lap and butt welds at the bottom of the tank;

3.1.4 Tank diameter requirements: can be applied to all diameters of tanks;

★3.1.5 Operation mode: The inspection personnel can complete the whole operation by standing;

★3.1.6 Lighting system: LED lighting system in vacuum box;

3.1.7 Lighting system power supply: built-in 3Wh lithium battery, power supply time is not less than 16 hours;

★3.1.8 Moving wheel: the Vacuum box comes with 4 moving wheels, 4 moving wheels with spring can be lifted, can push the Vacuum box to walk;

★3.1.9 auxiliary rod: The pressure relief valve is installed on the auxiliary rod, and the detection personnel can switch the pressure relief valve when they stand normally.

3.2 Vacuum box for testing girth welds

3.2.1 Vacuum: not less than 60kP;

3.2.2 Weld detection length: not less than 400mm;

3.2.3 Inspection weld type: fillet weld;

3.2.4 Tank diameter: ≥5m;

★3.2.5 Operation mode: The inspection personnel can complete the whole operation by standing;

★3.2.6 Lighting system: LED lighting system in vacuum box;

3.2.7 Lighting system power supply: built-in 3Wh lithium battery, power supply time is not less than 16 hours;

★3.2.8 Moving wheel: the Vacuum box comes with 2 moving wheels, 2 moving wheels with spring can be lifted, can push the Vacuum box to walk;

★3.2.9 auxiliary rod: The pressure relief valve is installed on the auxiliary rod, and the detection personnel can switch the pressure relief valve when they stand normally;

★3.2.10 Other auxiliary functions: Two electromagnets with 85 kg of suction force and two pushrod motors with 19 kg of thrust force are installed on both sides of the Vacuum box.
