FJ-500 online continuous radiation monitoring system is a device used for continuous monitoring of the regional gamma dose rate in radioactive areas, such as pedestrian passages, operation areas, and some equipment rooms within the control zone of nuclear power plants.
FJ-500 online continuous radiation monitoring system adopts an integrated structure design of the host and probe, with built-in high and low range GM counters and an audible and visual alarm module. It can be used for regional dose rate monitoring in the environment. At the same time, it can be externally connected with multiple fixed gamma probes through the RS485 interface to meet the requirements of simultaneous monitoring and measurement in different areas; and it can be connected to the upper computer to achieve synchronous real-time display and control of data at the industrial control end. The instrument complies with the standard JJG 393-2018 "Portable χ, γ Radiation Surrounding Dose Equivalent (Rate) Meter and Monitoring Instrument".
The system can set two levels of alarm thresholds. When the gamma dose rate in the measured area exceeds the set alarm threshold, the host will simultaneously issue an audible and visual alarm signal (the alarm sound can be turned on or off by operation) to alert the on-site staff.
