Huawei S12712 is an enterprise-level layer 3 switch launched by Huawei. It is mainly applied in large-scale data transmission scenarios such as data centers and campus networks, featuring high power consumption, high scalability and stability. Its power supply has a capacity of 6600W and adopts a modular architecture design, including 2 main control board slots, 4 switching network board slots and 12 service board slots, supporting flexible expansion.
The switching capacity of this device can reach 17.44Tbps/37.28Tbps, with a packet forwarding rate of 9120Mpps/12960Mpps, and it is compatible with full-duplex/half-duplex adaptive transmission modes. The hardware is equipped with a high-performance multi-core processor and large-capacity memory, supporting Gigabit Ethernet interface and redundant backup mechanism. In case of failure, it can automatically switch to ensure network continuity. The security functions integrate firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNS and SSL encryption, and support MAC address authentication and 802.1x authentication systems
