The S5731S-H24T4X-A belongs to the eKitEngine (formerly CloudEngine) series of enhanced gigabit access switches. It is designed for the distribution market and is a high-performance 1U rack mounted switch for enterprise campuses and branch networks. It can be used for access, aggregation, and small network core scenarios, achieving networking capabilities from gigabit to desktop and 10 gigabit uplink.
The hardware has a large port cache, which is compatible with high bandwidth services such as WiFi6, video, and voice, reducing packet loss in high traffic scenarios; Support iStack intelligent stacking, where multiple devices are virtually integrated into one logical device, simplifying the topology; Simultaneously supporting OPS open programmability, new business protocols can be iterated through microcode without the need for hardware replacement.
