In industries such as chemical and oil and gas, equipment corrosion is a major hidden danger to production safety. ASTM B564 / UNS N10276 nickel alloy forged rings solve the problem of extreme corrosion at its source. They can withstand temperatures up to 1093℃ and resist the erosion of various strong acids and chloride ions, enabling equipment to operate stably for many years.
Advantages:
1. The forging process breaks down the as-cast structure, refines the grains, and eliminates internal defects, resulting in higher strength, better toughness, and improved fatigue resistance.
2. It increases the material's density and reduces micropores, thereby enhancing its resistance to penetration and corrosion.
3. Forging orients the metal grains along the circumference of the ring, forming continuous fibrous flow lines, giving the ring optimal radial load-bearing capacity and resistance to stress corrosion.
It offers great dimensional flexibility, allowing the production of large ring-shaped components with diameters ranging from tens of millimeters to several meters and various cross-sectional shapes (rectangular, irregular).
